SCENARIOS

Illustrative Build Scenarios

Representative situations showing the path from requirement to running event.

University

Campus CTF Program

CTF Campus intranet Talent development
项目背景

A security department wants an always-available competition platform to support coursework, run an annual campus event, and select varsity team members.

建设方案
  • Platform deployed on department servers for continuous availability
  • Challenge library organized around course topics
  • Annual campus event uses the CTF jeopardy format
  • Post-event capability distribution across students
项目价值

One platform serving both coursework and team selection, with measurably higher hands-on participation.

Enterprise

Internal AWD Challenge

AWD Intranet Skills assessment
项目背景

A security team plans an internal attack-defense exercise to assess how the group responds under realistic adversarial pressure.

建设方案
  • AWD format with target machines assigned per squad
  • Challenges modeled on the company's actual technology stack
  • Deployed on the corporate intranet, isolated from production
  • Post-event analysis at both team and individual level
项目价值

Response-phase capability gaps identified, giving the training plan a concrete starting point.

Government

Regional Skills Competition

CTF + AWD Government intranet Talent selection
项目背景

A cyberspace administration body runs a skills competition for technical staff across regional agencies, to gauge capability and identify strong performers.

建设方案
  • CTF qualifier covering all participating agencies
  • AWD final to surface the strongest hands-on performers
  • Platform deployed offline on the government intranet
  • On-site technical support throughout the event
项目价值

A regional capability baseline that supports talent pipeline planning.

FORMATS

Common Event Formats

Pick the format that matches participant skill level and what you need to measure.

CTF Challenge Event

Jeopardy format with a moderate barrier to entry — suited to broad participation.

  • For: campus events, internal training
  • Scale: 50-500 participants
  • Duration: 4-8 hours

AWD Attack-Defense

Adversarial format demanding higher skill — suited to selection and assessment.

  • For: team selection, capability review
  • Scale: 10-60 teams
  • Duration: 4-6 hours

Full-Chain Security Challenge

Penetration testing against a simulated business environment, close to real work.

  • For: capability assessment, skills contests
  • Scale: 20-200 participants
  • Duration: 1-2 days

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take from first conversation to a live event?
It depends on event scale and challenge preparation. For a small-to-mid event using standard challenges (under 200 participants), the platform is typically ready in 2-3 weeks. Custom challenges or complex intranet deployments extend that to 4-6 weeks. We recommend starting at least a month ahead to leave room for environment testing and a dry run.
Can challenges be built around our actual business scenarios?
Yes. Beyond the standard challenge library, challenges can be designed around your technology stack and business context. This is common for internal enterprise events — challenges that mirror real systems give a more accurate read on how the team performs in actual work. The number and difficulty of custom challenges are agreed during the solution discussion.
What data do we get after the event?
The platform produces complete score and ranking data, including individual and team scores, solve timelines, and solve-rate distribution across challenge categories. Based on that, we provide a post-event report covering participant capability distribution and suggested training directions. All raw data can be exported for your own analysis.
